Economic Development Associate

ROI Research on Investment is an award winning firm that provides data and services related to early-stage investment and corporate expansion intelligence. As a business matchmaker to the world we connect companies that are growing and investing with the global economic development organizations and B2B companies that can help them grow. The Economic Development Associate is responsible for all aspects of market research and  lead generation activities required to identify and contact companies primed for expansion on behalf of ROI’s clients. This position entails considerable research and outreach efforts (through social media, by email, and by phone) to gather information and discuss with decision-makers responsible for corporate expansion initiatives.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identify decision makers responsible for corporate and international expansion
  • Execute primary and secondary market research using best-practice methodologies to generate high-quality business development opportunities
  • Develop take-to-market strategy by leveraging tele-prospecting, email and social media to maximize the volume of qualified leads
  • Maximize business intelligence gathering and ensuring accurate entry into the research database for all customer contacts
